Pass The Mic Not A Knife ‪on Saturday 12th October 2019‬ 11-5pm at Centrale shopping centre in Croydon.

This Event is in regards to raising awareness to knife crime in the local community and trying to put the message across to youths that you don’t need to go down that route, what help is out there on offer and what the local authorities, organisations are trying to do to prevent knife crime. The day will consist of:

Maisha Sumah
Roots of knife crime and solutions to overcoming it and raising awareness on youth violence.

Nadia McInnis
An Entrepreneur and the founder of Gifted Enterprise, she is an Author of her best selling book, a true story ”A Sister’s Pain” and two other books worldwide on Amazon. Nadia has trained over 2000 young people within the last 3 years in Business Skills and Public Speaking.

Youth society, They would like to be able to give children a panic button for them to feel safe when they are travelling to and from school and in general. They have taken Knives of from youths and asked them why are you carrying that. They have seen how easy it is for youths to become part of a Gang due to fear and lack of support.

Local police constables giving a speech on how they are tackling knife crime.

Stop Knife Crime
Community fund group from Croydon. We will be marching through central croydon from 2pm ending up in queens gardens At 3pm we will be observing a unified minutes silence running simultaneously in cities all over the united kingdom to honour loved ones lost to serious youth violence, murder and manslaughter!
