Charlotte Joan Fisher from Scotland, aged 19 years old.

Training in singing, dancing and acting.

I enjoyed and learned so much during my time on the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Junior Company bursary for the musical theatre programme.

I have an IMDb credit for my part in a gritty Scottish Crime trilogy. I have had many seasons in commercial pantomime and a lead role in a musical at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

I am grateful to have received a Bursary to allow me to attend the prestigious Oxford School of Drama to pursue my acting training; from there, who knows what's next.

I would love to join a West End show, be a singer on a cruise ship and gain a wee role in a Netflix series; all of this would be great.

Got to keep grafting, dreaming and being grateful.

Funding and opportunities are so important for the arts to ensure that young people like me (restricted by geography and funds) can access quality opportunities and training. So a big shout-out to UTUK for providing everyone (no matter what stage or age they are at) with a platform, either online or in person, to show their talents, connect with others and engage in exciting opportunities and competitions.

My advice to those starting like me: you are doing great; trust yourself, don't compare yourself with others unless it motivates you to be your best; enjoy your craft and always have a backup plan.
