UTUK’s First Pop Up Show Brings Talent, Conversation & Community to Surrey Street Market
Undiscovered Talent UK proudly launched its very first UTUK Pop Up Show at Surrey Street Market, Croydon, bringing together live performances, community connections and opportunities for creatives to showcase what they do.
Held outside Market Tavern, the event created an exciting atmosphere in the heart of Croydon as local people stopped by to watch performances, meet creatives and experience what UTUK is all about.
The Pop Up Show was designed to be more than just a performance stage — it was a space for artists, entrepreneurs, businesses and creatives to connect, promote themselves and become part of a growing creative community.
Live Performances & Open Mic
One of the highlights of the day was the Open Mic session, which welcomed performers to step forward and share their talent in a relaxed and supportive environment.
From singers to spoken word artists and musicians, the open mic created spontaneous moments and gave people the confidence to perform in front of a live audience. It reflected exactly what UTUK stands for — creating opportunities and opening doors for undiscovered talent.
Interview with Theo
Another key moment from the event was an exclusive interview with Theo, where we had the opportunity to talk about creativity, ambition and the importance of creating spaces for emerging talent.
Theo shared thoughts on the creative journey, the value of community support and the importance of continuing to provide platforms that encourage people to step outside of their comfort zones and showcase their abilities.
